When you message us, you reach the people who run the classes — not a bot, not a call centre.
Why not a group class? For example, with five children sharing thirty minutes, each one reads for six — and spends the other twenty-four waiting their turn.
Your child: all 30 minutes
Your child: 6 minutes
A screen recording from an actual class: Surah Quraysh, one native Arab tutor, one student. Every slip is corrected the moment it happens — before it has a chance to become a habit.
The surah on screen. Your child reads from the same page the tutor is pointing at — no guessing where they are.
Corrected as they go. A letter learned wrong at seven is still wrong at seventeen. A native ear catches it the first time.
A game to finish. A child who enjoys the lesson turns up to the next one.

Want to see it with your own child? The first two classes are free.

Boys and men learn with a male teacher; mothers and daughters with a female teacher. Always one to one, with nobody else listening in.
Your child builds a real bond with one teacher — no starting over with someone new.
Teaching is their job, not something fitted around another one.
Sit in whenever you like. Nothing happens behind a closed door.

An Ijazah certifies that a teacher recited the whole Qur'an to a master who had an Ijazah himself — an unbroken chain of teachers going back to the Prophet ﷺ. It can't be bought online, and most tutors advertising Qur'an lessons don't hold one.
For daughters — and for mothers. Our Ustadhas teach girls, and mothers who want to learn properly themselves.
We start exactly where your child is, and build a plan around what matters to your family. Most families mix two or three of these.
Starting from the Arabic letters and the Noorani Qaida, through to reading fluently from the mushaf.
Taught by native speakers from day one, not bolted on later — so correct recitation becomes the habit, not the fix.
Reading, writing and understanding the language of the Qur'an — with conversational Arabic from a native speaker, at no extra cost.
Salah, duas, Seerah and adab — taught so they make sense to a child growing up in the UK, and become part of who they are, not just something they memorised.
From young children meeting the letters for the first time to parents learning alongside them. It's never too early — or too late — to start.
You choose what they learn. Qur'an, Arabic, Salah, Seerah, adab — tell us what matters to your family and we build the plan around it.
Tell us what you needStudents and parents — on camera, and in the messages they send us.
Halfway through, he turned the interview around on his teacher. A child comfortable enough in his lesson to argue back in it.
Eight months in, his old mispronunciations are gone. Learning at an age he didn't think he could.
His child learns here. So does he. Not what he says about us — what he chose to do himself.

“A deeper connection with the lessons.” A parent, on their child's progress.

“Makes learning feel enjoyable.” A parent, on their child's teacher.

“10/10.” A parent's monthly check-in.
Your child could be the next story.

Yes. Take both classes, meet the tutor and watch how they teach. If it isn't right for your child, you pay nothing and we won't chase you.
The Qur'an is in Arabic, and so much of recitation is sound — ح against ه, ق against ك, a letter held for two counts or for four. A native speaker hears the difference instantly and knows how to show a child. Our tutors pair that with fluent English, so the "why" is never lost.
Yes. Our tutors teach fluently in English and are trained to teach children growing up in English-speaking homes. That combination — native Arabic, fluent English — is the reason Islam Root exists.
A woman — always. Every class for girls is taught by one of our Ustadhas, one to one, with nobody else listening in.
Completely. We assess where your child actually is — from not knowing the letters to reading already — and build forward from there.
Pick the days and times that suit you, any day of the week, and rearrange any week you need to. You keep the same tutor.
Whenever you like. Many parents watch the first few classes; some keep watching every week.
You get a written report at the end of every month: what was covered, what improved, and what still needs work. And you can always ask your child to recite for you.
Yes — parents learning alongside their children, and adults starting from the very first letter. Men learn with a male teacher, women with a female teacher. It's never too late to start.

“Like a good tree — its root firm, its branches in the sky.”
Surah Ibrāhīm, 14:24
A child who feels different at school and foreign at home quietly lets go of the part he doesn't understand — too often, his deen. We started Islam Root so that part stays rooted: understood, loved and lived. The root is already there. Let's grow it together, in shā' Allāh.
